Residents of south central Pennsylvania received some unsettling news last week concerning alleged sexual assaults that involved a youth minister at an evangelical church and two teenage boys.
On February 3 police arrested Jeffrey Crosley for allegedly sexually assaulting two boys. For the last 10 years, Crosley has served as a youth leader from the Jesus Messiah Evangelical Free Church in Hanover. The two victims were 16 years old and between 12 and 16 years old when the alleged acts occurred. The District Attorney’s office has indicated that there may be additional victims, and has asked the public to report any related knowledge or information to either Chief Charles Kellar or Detective Douglas Hilyard of the Littlestown Police Department at 717-359-4511.
Currently, Crosley has been charged with two counts of rape, three counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, two counts of aggravated incident assault, and other sexual-related crimes. Bail has been set at $500,000.
